I am Babak, I’ve been working in networking and security industry for more than 20 years. Like most of us IT people, I also started my IT career as a system engineer back in 1997 and eventually became a network admin, network engineer and a network architect. My background is networking with hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, etc.) but I’ve also designed and implemented many state of art networks based on VMware NSX. Next to my previous full-time jobs, I have also been a networking instructor at different levels.

I am now a full-time senior consultant at VMware and my focus area is Networking and Security.

I hold multiple IT certifications such as VCP-DC, VCP-NV (2019), CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, JNCIP-DC, AWS Certified Solution Architect, etc.
